Craft Brewery Installation – Howard Smith Wharves
Description:
BDR Stainless were commissioned to install the Brew House, Uni Tanks (Bright, Serving), all Process Piping including Product, Glycol, Water, Steam Condensate, Air, CO2 as well as Electrical Conduits and Pipe Insulation. All BDR Process Design including the Overhead Pipe Gantry had to take into account and work with the existing Heritage Listed wooden building structure which could not be fixed into in any way.
Challenges:
Whilst BDR Stainless are seen as the market leaders for Craft Brewery installations this project had an extra complication working on a large construction site with overlapping scopes by other construction trades to meet a tight brew date schedule. As the finished Brewery is also the backdrop to the bar and restaurant area the Brewery installation had to achieve both a practical and efficient brewing process but also achieve a high quality, aesthetically pleasing look to the Craft Brewery customers.
